A 3-stage campaign with personalized video messages from Vivo's brand ambassador and famous cricket player Virat Kohli to channel partners and customers.

The Campaign

Vivo rolled out 3 personalized video ads with Virat Kohli:

1. To Channel Partners

In the first ad, the brand ambassador calls out the retailer's name and location: the video ends with a Call to Action (CTA) for customers to contact the retailer for queries. Retailers sent the video to their potential customers.

2. To Brand Promoters

On the launch day, Vivo's brand promoters sent their prospects the second video, in which the brand ambassador Virat explained the key features of the V27 Series. Each personalized copy had a shoutout to Vivo’s promoters, calling out their name. Gan.AI created personalized videos for over 20,000 promoters who reached out to their niche contacts. This gave recognition to the promoters as key figures and increased their trust in the promoter.

3. To Customer Leads

Potential customers received personalized videos, in which Virat Kohli called their names. Promoters also shared these videos with shortlisted consumers who showed interest but did not purchase. The personalized video helped convert those consumers into happy & loyal Vivo customers.

Variables: customer's name, their nearest Vivo retailer, field sales rep, and their phone number.

  1. When a customer engaged with a sales rep, they passed the customer's contacts to the regional head. They input this information into the Gan.ai platform, which in seconds sent out hyper-personalized messages from Virat Kohli to the customer.
  2. Each sales rep and retailer could log in to Gan.AI’s portal and shared a personalized video with the celebrity via email or social media in seconds.
