Kalpataru, one of India’s leading real estate developers, wanted to create a personalized, high-touch digital journey for prospective homebuyers across their entire engagement funnel. 

Recognizing that homebuying is both a financial and emotional decision, Kalpataru sought to connect with each lead on a more personal level—addressing them by name, referencing the exact property of interest, and offering timely nudges throughout the buying process. To achieve this, Kalpataru partnered with Studio by Gan.ai to create and deliver thousands of personalized video messages across eight distinct stages of the customer journey, spanning multiple premium properties.

The Challenge:

Diverse Inventory & Multiple Touchpoints: 

Kalpataru had 8 different properties—such as Kalpataru Elitus, Srishti Namaah, Kalpataru Vivant, Kalpataru Advay, Jade Skyline, Kalpataru Blossoms, Kalpataru Aria, and Kalpataru Parkcity—each requiring its own branding, name mention, and messaging.

Personalization Across the Entire Funnel (8 Stages):
The journey included:

  • Stage 1: On Lead Enquiry
  • Stage 2: Site Visit Appointment Invitation
  • Stage 3: Reminder for Upcoming Site Visit
  • Stage 4: Follow-up if the Site Visit Did Not Happen
  • Stage 5: Thank You After the Site Visit
  • Stage 6: Reminder for Purchase Decision
  • Stage 7: Welcome Message Post-Purchase

Each stage required a different script, and call-to-action, making manual video production for thousands of personalizations an impossible undertaking.

To build trust and authenticity, each video needed to address the prospect by their actual name and mention the specific property they had inquired about—all while maintaining seamless voice quality and lip-sync to ensure the personalization felt natural and human.

Lead Enquiry (Stage 1): The video welcomed new leads, acknowledged their interest, and assured them of follow-up.

Site Visit Stages (2-5): From inviting the prospect for a site visit, to reminding them, to thanking them afterward, each message was carefully timed and personally addressed.

Purchase Decision & Post-Purchase (Stages 6-7): After the site visit, personalized nudges prompted the buyer to make a purchase decision. Once the purchase was made, a warm welcome video celebrated their new home.

Referral Campaign (Stage 8): Finally, a personalized referral message encouraged happy buyers to refer friends and family, promising a close-knit community.

Instead of manually editing each video, Studio by Gan.AI allowed the team to create a single source of truth for video content. The volume of Personalization: 15,859 unique video copies were generated seamlessly, ensuring each prospect and buyer received content that resonated with their stage in the journey and specific property of interest.

High Engagement: With an average watch time of 00:21 out of a 00:23-second video, viewers were clearly engaged. Nearly everyone watched the majority of their personalized video, underscoring the power of this targeted, humanized approach.

Solid Click-Through Rate (CTR): A 7.81% CTR is notable in the real estate context, where nurturing leads often involves multiple follow-ups. This elevated CTR indicates that personalized video content successfully moved prospects closer to conversion steps, whether booking a site visit or finalizing a purchase.
