Industry: Creative Services, Education Outreach

Website: DLE Event Group

The Campaign

DLE Event Group launched a personalized outreach campaign targeting principals and school administrators to demonstrate DLE’s capability to produce custom animations for K-12 schools. Using Studio by Gan.AI, the campaign highlighted each school’s unique atmosphere and values through voiceovers narrated from a student’s perspective, tailored specifically by school level (elementary, middle, or high school). This approach showcased the potential of personalized animation to enhance a school’s storytelling and engagement with its community.

Variables: Recipient’s name, school name

Challenge

DLE sought to increase awareness and engagement among school decision-makers, aiming to showcase the power of Studio by Gan.AI’s advanced video personalization capabilities to create more effective and compelling school branding.

Solution

Leveraging Studio by Gan.AI’s personalization features, DLE developed a series of custom animations that highlighted each school’s unique qualities through engaging and personalized formats. The videos included:

Visual + Voice Personalization: The video began with DLE's founder, Daniel Linares, on-screen, holding a whiteboard personalized with each recipient’s name in a handwritten style. This whiteboard personalization was perfectly integrated into the video, changing for every recipient. Additionally, his voice was cloned using Studio by Gan.AI’s technology, allowing Daniel to greet each recipient by name with realistic lip sync.

Voiceover Personalization: At the 0:17 mark, the video transitioned to an animated segment. The campaign featured three distinct animation segments, each crafted for a specific school level:

  • Elementary School: A youthful voiceover to create an engaging experience for younger audiences.
  • Middle School: A pre-adolescent voiceover aligning with the middle school atmosphere.
  • High School: An early adolescent voiceover suitable for a high school audience.

Each voiceover artist was uniquely cloned and personalized to mention the name of the school, delivering an authentic touch through accurate pronunciation and style.

Motion-Graphic Personalization: Each animated segment included personalized motion graphics featuring the school’s name, seamlessly matched to the font, color, and style of the animated video, creating a cohesive and polished effect.

Key Results

📈 Enhanced Engagement: Principals and administrators responded positively, with an increase in engagement for follow-up discussions and meetings.

🎥 Increased Viewership: The personal approach contributed to high view-through rates, with recipients responding to the relevance and customization of each video.

🤝 Positive Feedback: The campaign’s combination of Daniel’s personalized greeting and age-appropriate, school-level voiceovers was well received, underscoring the value of deep personalization in outreach.

Features Used

  • Dynamic Visuals: Whiteboard personalization featuring recipient names in a handwritten style, perfectly integrated into the initial video segment.

  • Voice Cloning & Lip Sync: Studio by Gan.AI’s technology cloned Daniel Linares’s voice, allowing him to greet each recipient by name with realistic lip-sync accuracy.

  • Tiered Voiceovers: The campaign employed three distinct voice actors for each school level, enhancing the age-appropriate feel through voiceover personalization.
